Perth Junior Curling Club had an excellent weekend at the Scottish Junior Curling Challenge Division 3 at Dumfries.

The team of Jack Cahalin, Callum Glen, Harry Gow, Chloe McNaughton, Cameron Munro, Cameron Patterson, Laura Watt and Mark Watt played excellent curling and were exemplary representatives of the Club. Ultimately the tournament ended in cruel disappointment tying on the same points and even ends as Lockerbie and losing out on promotion to Division 2. The team can all be very proud of their performance and their sporting conduct throughout the weekend. Many thanks to Hazel Munro for her invaluable assistance as helper, and to Allay, Jacqueline and Heather for organising it all. Here's hoping for better luck next year in Stranraer!

Junior Club Points 2019

Perth Junior Curling Club Annual Points competition took place on Saturday 16th March with 15 members taking part.  They managed to get through all 9 points disciplines with some fantastic curling.  After the 9 different disciplines it ended up as a tie for first place between Mark Watt and Harry Gow.  They both then completed discipline 10 as the tie breaker. Mark finished first with Harry in 2nd place and Innes Chalmers in 3rd place. All the members played brilliantly and enjoyed, for many, their first time playing points. A special thanks to all the helpers.
