Events Throughout Season 

Virtual Club: For new curlers who are looking to get into the sport and gain regular games and
coaching. Weekends and evenings.

Business Challege: Open to teams containing max. 1 regular curler. Great fun for those looking to get
an introduction to curling by competing against others businesses. Qualifying night with coaching
leading to Knock Out quarters night and finals night. All include supper. 3/4 players from same
business

Senior League: Open to 4 men/women who have attained the age of 50 by 30/06/17

Perth Ice Rink Seniors Knockout: Open to 4 men/women who have attained the age of 50 by
30/06/17. Played January onwards.

Mixed Open Seniors - (Andrew McLaren Cup) (Knockout): Played Sep - Dec. (Open to any 2 women & 2
men who have attained the age of 50 by 30/06/2017).

Ladies Super League: Open to any 4 women/junior girl curlers. One league. Played daytime
weekdays over the season

Ladies Evening League: Open to any 4 women/junior girl curlers. One league played on weekday
evenings from September to March.

Love Trophy: Ladies League Open to any 4 women/ junior girls. Played daytime weekdays over the
season

Tayside Ladies League: Open to any individual lady curler. Teams are drawn and sent out prior to the
season. 8 games played over the season.

Norie Miller Trophy: Ladies Knockout Open to any 4 women or junior girls. January onwards. Played
daytime/weekdays.

Hunter Trophy (Knockout): Open to any 2 men and 2 women curlers playing alternate positions.
Knockout format played throughout the season on evenings and weekends.

Brian Smith Trophy (Knockout): Open to mixed pairs of 1 man & 1 woman, played weekday evenings,
January onwards.

Super Leagues: Open to any 4 curlers, men, women or juniors. There are 4 Divisions in the super
league. Evenings and weekends.

Simpson Trophy: Open to any 4 curlers men/women or junior. Knockout competition played evenings and weekends. Compulsory for Division 1/2 Super League teams

Live Active K/O Competition: A new competition, open to any 4 curlers men/women/juniors. Played
evenings & weekends. Compulsory for Division 3 & 4 Super League teams.

Live Active Open: A fun double knockout competition aimed at introducing new curlers of all ages
with the clubs in Perth. Enter 2 club curlers to team up with 2 inexperienced players. Played January
onwards.

Open Pairs Knockout Douglas Campbell Trophy: Qualifier for Scottish National Pairs Championship.
Open to any 2 male/female or junior curlers. Played from September - December

Perth Open: Open to any 4 curlers men/women/juniors. Played on week nights from December to
April. The first stage will be played on the league principal in groups of 4 rinks with the group winners
& runners-up going forward to play in the knock out stages. The final games will be played on curling
finals night.

Junior Club Roundup

Beginners Quadrangle between Stirling, Kinross, Murrayfield and ourselves was won by PJCC. Well done Lewis, Maria, Jamie and Keir. .........

 

 

Our popular Christmas bonspiel was won this year Innes's Angels, Innes skipped his rink of Lewis, William and Russell (Lewis's dad) to victory in this fun event. Christmas jumpers and hats optional extras! .......

 

 

Our last club competition of the season, our club points was won by Laura with 33 points. ......

 

 

 

Our season is now finished but we are back on Tuesday 25th September 2018 at 4pm. Look forward to seeing you then.
